Airide
Technologies first product, the Impulse, is founded on many
years of Hovercraft design engineering by one of Canada’s leading hovercraft
designers, Ron Fishlock.
Ron has successfully combined the many benefits of the well proven inflatable boat, the use of a world renowned engine and his advanced aerodynamic control system to produce an agile and stylish light hovercraft.
In Ron’s most recent history, it has been his designs of a simple hovercraft platform, a two seat and four seat home built recreational Hovercraft that have been featured on ACV Designs & TPD Designs web site out of Aldergrove, British Columbia.
Prior to this, Ron was the founding member, sole designer and past president of Canair Hovercraft Inc., a company that built a series of commercial two to twelve seat Hovercraft.
Ron has a total of fourteen Hovercraft designs to his credit, 12 of which were built by companies in Canada since emigrating in 1972. Back in Britain, the birthplace of Hovercraft, Ron worked for three of the top pioneering hovercraft companies.
